Within Fitchburg, especially near the campus, there is one place that has been there for students when it comes to their late-night food needs. Superfans, which is located across the University, looks like just a hole in the wall, for about five years now. But looks can always be deceiving. The employees work until the early morning hours. And while the food may not be gourmet, its convenient location to the school makes it absolutely worth the fair and consistent prices that you will pay. Plus, on Wednesday’s, they have good deals on their “Chubby” sandwiches. A good example is the Chubby “Auerbach”, which is a steak and cheese, with bacon, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and fries. It’s difficult not to have your mouth water at the description of each of that sandwich. But sandwiches aren’t only what they have; they do pizza as well. Their most popular pizza is the Chubby “Zaa”, which is a pizza with hamburg, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and fries. They also do sides, such as chicken, fries, and the like. Whatever your craving is at eleven o'clock at night, Superfans has you covered.
Superfans is adorned with all different sports memorabilia, from shirts, and old photographs. They offer in-house seating, whether you’re waiting on your order, or simply want to eat in with friend. They also have television sets playing different sporting events; so, if you’re not a fan of one game, you can certainly find another to watch. The food is the main reason why so many people go so often. It may not have Michelin stars, but it certainly will deliver time and time again (literally). The Chubby “Auerbach” is only $11.80, and it’s also 15% off on Wednesdays. For those kind of prices, college students are willing to pay for eating out, and getting their money's worth. It makes sense to have Superfans be so close to the school. Because while you can have them deliver it, you can also go and pick it up yourself, if you’re willing to walk or drive to get it.
